mouth|piece «MOWTH PEES», noun.
1. the part of a musical instrument, such as a pipe, horn, or the like, or of a telephone or a tobacco pipe, that is placed in or against a person's mouth.
2. a) the part of a bit or harness of a horse that is held in the mouth. b) a rubber guard held in the mouth by a boxer to prevent chipped teeth or cut lips resulting from head blows: »

3. a piece placed at or forming the opening of something: »
